You will be part of an established MandE maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of all building services while maintaining high standards of service and client satisfaction.As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, emergency response and compliance duties. You will also maintain site logbooks, oversee contractors and ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures.Electrical Shift Engineer Duties: Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems. Working on single and three-phase power systems. Maintaining motors, generators and UPS systems. Assisting with LV/HV switching and shutdown procedures. Testing emergency lighting and fire alarm systems. Maintaining AHUs, FCUs and VAV systems. Working on sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings and mechanical seals. Monitoring and operating BMS systems. Ensuring health and safety compliance across the site. Maintaining logbooks and site documentation. Completing risk assessments and issuing permits to work.
