An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Manager to join a well-established construction organisation. This role is perfect for a proactive and hands-on professional looking to take ownership of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across multiple sites.
As the SHEQ Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards across the organisation, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and a positive safety culture.

SHEQ Manager - Construction
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures, and systems in line with industry regulations and best practice.
- Monitor compliance with statutory legislation, standards, and internal requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Provide SHEQ training and support to staff at all levels.
- Promote a positive health, safety, environmental, and quality culture throughout the organisation.
- Report on SHEQ performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies as required.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a SHEQ or similar management role within the construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence teams to achieve high standards.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant qualifications in SHEQ, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
