Sheltered Housing Officer

Title:Sheltered Housing Officer Contract: This is a temporary ongoing opportunity Hours: 35 per week Monday to Friday Salary: PAYE £19.75 per hour or UMBRELLA £26.11 per hour About the role: You ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the scheme or older adults, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality, responsive service. From managing health and safety to supporting social engagement, you ll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the scheme Support residents with tenancy plans and scheme inductions Assess and manage risks including fire safety and health and safety Maintain accurate records and uphold scheme security Report and follow up on repairs, prioritising safety-related issues Maintain professional boundaries and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed About the Candidate: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience supporting vulnerble people in a social housing setting. Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing management. (Desirable) Confidence working with statutory and voluntary agencies.
