Our new, clean, bright 63,000 sq. Ft site in Heywood, Lancashire is the largest containment factory in the northwest, just minutes from the M66 and M62. We have invested -1m in our facility, with state-of-the-art machinery and great staff facilities including showers, canteen, and plenty of on-site parking.
Our products, including isolators, laminar airflow cabinets and microbiological safety cabinets, are used to prepare chemotherapy treatments for cancer patients, discover new therapies for Alzheimer''s or test samples in hospitals. It means you''ll always finish the day feeling you''ve contributed to something valuable, supporting our NHS and private hospitals throughout Europe.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Undertaking light gauge fabrication work using stainless steel. Thickness ranging from 1.0mm to 4.00mm, as part of the production of a range of Fume Cupboards, Isolators, Enclosures and Framework.
- TIG Welding - Standard TIG test to be completed as part of the application process.
- 3-4 Years minimum experience within sheet metal, welding, and assembly.
- Experience in pharmaceutical and food industry fabrication beneficial.
Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience:
- Time served Sheet metal worker.
- Proven experience in the trade.
- Excellent TIG Welding skills.
- Polishing experience is preferable but not essential.
- MIG Welding experience also preferable but not essential.
- An ability to fabricate/weld to technical drawings and acceptable tolerances.
- Experience in working in a fast-moving manufacturing business.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A high concern for standards, taking real pride in your work.
