Sheet Metal Worker

We’re hiring for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a longstanding fabrication company based in Hyde.

This is a hands-on role working on a variety of TIG welding and fabrication projects, primarily using stainless steel.

What’s on offer?

• £22.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:45pm
• Early finish on Thursdays and Fridays
• Standard holiday entitlement + bank holidays
• Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
• Christmas party and team events

What will you be doing as a Sheet Metal Worker?

• TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel components
• Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
• Carrying out metal forming tasks such as bending, rolling, and cutting
• Producing high-quality metalwork to exact specifications
• Supporting general fabrication and workshop duties as needed

What do you need?

• The ability to read and work from engineering drawing
• Proven TIG welding experience
• Familiarity working with stainless steel materials
• Previous experience in a similar sheet metal or fabrication role
