Setting Out Engineer

Your new companyYou will be joining an established Tier 1 contractor delivering a major water infrastructure scheme involving the construction of a Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO). The project includes precast concrete structures, deep vertical shafts, drainage and associated heavy civils works. Your new role As Setting Out Engineer, you will support the site team with the accurate delivery and quality assurance of the works. Your responsibilities will include: Setting out precast concrete units, vertical shafts, drainage and associated civils works Carrying out site surveys and producing accurate as-built records Using surveying equipment to establish lines, levels, coordinates and tolerances Completing and maintaining quality assurance documentation, ITPs and inspection records Checking works against construction drawings and specifications Liaising with Site Management, subcontractors and other members of the engineering team Identifying and resolving technical or setting-out issues on site Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with project requirements What you''ll need to succeed To be considered for the role, you will have: CSCS Black or Gold Card SMSTS CAT and Genny certification (desirable) What you''ll get in returnYou will receive a competitive rate and the opportunity to work on a technically challenging water infrastructure project with an established civil engineering contractor.
