Sessional Lecturer: LMP2330Y Capstone Project in TRP (0.25FCE) at University of Toronto - Woodsworth College.This course is the core of the MHSc in Translational Research Program. Students, organized in groups of 2-5, identify and define a major project proposal in translational research, including an outline, project plan and timeline with milestones. An advisory committee with relevant expertise will guide each group. Groups meet weekly to chart progress and consult monthly with their committee. All groups report progress to course coordinators and the class monthly.Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver course content as a co-instructor for the course; create and develop courseware and instructional materials.Co-supervise and guide student groups throughout the academic year; maintain reasonable hours of student contact outside scheduled hours to provide academic support and mentorship.Participate in course planning and coordination with other instructors to ensure consistency and quality of instruction.Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Masters degree with equivalent professional experience.Preferred qualifications:

Background in Health Sciences with understanding of translational research and healthcare innovation. Five years of experience in start-ups, needs identification and co-design methodologies for intervention development, focusing on user-centered design and stakeholder engagement.Terms and Schedule
