Service Technician

Our client is a well-established main dealership in Wolverhampton and is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join their busy Service Department. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections and health checks, identifying any additional work required.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
• Complete all work in accordance with manufacturer repair methods, times, and company procedures.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and vehicle health check documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
• Liaise with Service Advisors and the Workshop Controller to provide updates on vehicle progress and any additional work required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Deliver excellent workmanship and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a Service Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Automotive Technician within a dealership or similar workshop environment.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge with strong diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
