Service Technician

Service Technician Full time roleAbout the role An exciting opportunity is available for a Service Technician to join a busy service centre team. This role involves working with customers, assessing returned equipment, identifying faults and carrying out repairs to ensure products are returned to full working condition.You will work across a wide range of equipment including cameras robotic systems control units cable reels and related products. This is a varied hands on role with daily customer interaction and opportunities to develop technical skills.Key responsibilitiesFault finding across a range of products at component level including electrical and mechanical issuesReading technical drawings and schematics and carrying out disassembly and reassembly of equipmentPerforming repairs maintenance and servicing on a variety of productsProviding excellent customer service both face to face and over the phoneOffering technical support to customers experiencing issuesRecording service activity including work carried out labour hours and parts used using internal systemsMonitoring stock levels and requesting parts when neededSupporting goods in and goods out activities when requiredRequirementsMechanical or electrical backgroundExperience with soldering including small componentsPrevious customer service experiencePositive and proactive attitudeGood computer skillsStrong problem solving abilityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHNC or equivalent ..... full job details .....
