Service Reception Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Service Reception Manager on behalf of our client, a reputable family-run dealership based in Ipswich, Suffolk. The Service Reception Manager will oversee the daily operations of the service reception, ensuring exceptional customer service delivery and efficient workflow. Duties:

• Lead and manage the Service Reception Manager team to deliver smooth daily operations
• Oversee customer bookings, appointments, and general communication to ensure high levels of satisfaction
• Support and develop the Service Reception Manager team members to maximise performance
• Ensure compliance with all company procedures, health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with workshop and parts departments to maintain seamless workflow
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement continuous improvements
• Maintain professional standards and represent the dealership positively as a Service Reception Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Reception Manager, Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor, or similar within an automotive dealership environment
• Strong leadership and organisational skills essential for a Service Reception Manager role
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of dealership management systems advantageous for a Service Reception Manager position
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced automotive setting
• Extensive experience within the motor trade, ideally within franchised dealerships
