Service Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Manager in Warrington, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional seeking to advance their career within a reputable automotive dealership group. The Service Manager role offers leadership responsibilities and the chance to oversee a busy service department, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Duties of the Service Manager:

• Oversee the daily operations of the service department to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and parts advisors
• Achieve and exceed service department targets related to customer retention and quality standards
• Ensure accurate job costing, invoicing, and parts control to maintain profit margins
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and brand partners
• Manage departmental budgets and control costs effectively
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a senior leadership role within an automotive service environment
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and drive team performance
• Minimum of two years'' experience within the motor trade sector
• Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
