A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Service Manager to join its team. As the key point of contact for Hard FM services, you''ll lead planned and reactive maintenance, manage operational performance and ensure statutory compliance across a busy estate while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The Role As the Service Manager, you''ll:
- Lead the delivery of planned and reactive Hard FM maintenance, ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly and to contractual standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Hard FM service delivery matters across your assigned site.
- Manage the performance of in-house teams and specialist contractors, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently achieved.
- Oversee statutory compliance, ensuring mandatory maintenance activities are completed and risks are effectively managed.
- Maintain CAFM records, ensuring all maintenance documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities support operational priorities.
- Develop and manage maintenance programmes, including forward works planning and additional service requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support sustainability initiatives.
- Participate in the on-call rota and support operational response where required.
- Previous experience managing Hard FM service delivery within a complex or regulated environment.
- Experience leading maintenance teams and managing subcontractor performance.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, safe systems of work and maintenance planning.
- Technical qualifications within Building Services or an Engineering discipline.
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
- Emergency First Aid and Fire Safety training.
- Experience acting as, or supporting, Asbestos and Legionella Responsible Persons.
- Strong IT skills, including experience using CAFM systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- £40,000-£44,000 salary.
- 6% matched pension contribution.
