Service Coordinator (FLT)

Connect Appointments are recruiting a Service Coordinator (Forklift Trucks) to join our client''s Cumbernauld-based facility. This role would be particularly suitable for any Service Engineers from a materials handling background looking to get off the tools.

• Salary of -40,000 to -45,000 per annum (DOE)

• No stand-by or call-out work

Working as a Service Engineer you will play a key role in the successful planning of forklift truck services and maintenance, including:

• Liaising with site management with regard to required repairs and part ordering
• Liaising with suppliers, sourcing parts and comparing prices
• Planning service visits to clients

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working with a variety of forklift trucks or similar vehicles, as well as:

• Previous experience having serviced and maintained forklift trucks (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• High awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental
