Service Charge Manager

Do you have the technical knowledge to manage complex service charge portfolios within social housing?We''re delighted to be supporting a well-established housing organisation in the recruitment of a Regional Service Charge Manager.The RoleReporting to the Head of Service Charge Setting and Administration, you''ll manage the Regional Service Charge team across the South West, overseeing service charge calculations across all tenure types and annual statements.The portfolio covers approximately 20,000 units, with an annual service charge income budget of around £20 million.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing the Regional Service Charge team, promoting accountability, high performance and continuous improvementSetting annual service charge expenditure and income budgets across all tenuresManaging the annual service charge estimate and final account processes, ensuring regulatory deadlines are metReviewing and approving annual service charge certifications, calculations and supporting documentationWorking collaboratively across the organisation to improve service delivery and customer outcomesEnsuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsProducing and analysing reports on recoverable expenditure, service charge income and other business requirementsManaging relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatorsWhat we''re ..... full job details .....
