The Opportunity

I''m currently recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join a well-established automotive business in Cheltenham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a strong understanding of aftersales, and thrives in a busy workshop environment. You''ll be joining a professional team where customer experience, attention to detail and getting the job done right are all highly valued.

The Role

As Service Advisor, you''ll be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every service and repair experience runs smoothly from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming customers and providing a professional, friendly point of contact throughout their visit

Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing service and repair requirements

Liaising closely with technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

Preparing job cards, estimates and invoices

Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process

Advising customers on parts, accessories and aftersales products

Supporting retail sales across clothing, merchandise and accessories

Processing payments and handling customer queries professionally

Supporting stock management, including checking deliveries and maintaining accurate records

Ensuring the workshop and aftersales operation remains organised and efficient

About You

I''m looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Aftersales or Parts role within the automotive or motorcycle industry

Excellent customer service and communication skills

A confident and professional approach when dealing with customers

Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment

Commercial awareness and an ability to identify additional sales opportunities

A genuine interest in the automotive or motorcycle sector

A full, valid UK driving licence
