Service Advisor

Our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Poole, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their professional team.

This Service Advisor position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals to develop their career within a well-established dealership environment.

Benefits:

• Basic salary of -27,000 per annum, with OTE up to -36,000 uncapped
• Working hours from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday
• No regular Saturday shifts; Saturdays only when required, paid at overtime rates
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after five years of service

Duties as a Service Advisor:

• The Service Advisor will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and friendly experience
• Advising customers on vehicle repairs and scheduled maintenance needs
• Managing and coordinating the service booking process to ensure efficiency
• Upselling essential services and parts to enhance workshop productivity and customer satisfaction
• Accurately recording service histories and updating customer details
• Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure timely completion of work and customer fulfilment

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a dealership or independent garage
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanour
• Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
• The ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
• Knowledge of motor vehicle service processes and parts sales is desirable
• Customer-focused with a professional attitude and proactive approach
