Service Advisor / Service Receptionist Company Overview:

Our client is a well-established franchised dealership in Aylesbury, part of a small, family-run business with a loyal local customer base. They are looking for two experienced Service Advisors / Service Receptionists to join their busy aftersales team.

This is a business that prides itself on personal service and long-standing customer relationships, rather than the high-pressure sales targets you may have experienced elsewhere. As a small, family-owned operation, you'll be part of a close-knit team where your contribution is visible and valued.

Service Advisor / Service Receptionist Role and Responsibilities:

• Booking in vehicles for service, repair and MOT, by phone, email and in person
• Meeting and greeting customers, managing arrivals and departures
• Liaising with the workshop to provide customers with accurate updates and explanations of work required
• Producing invoices and taking payments
• Promoting additional services and products where appropriate

Service Advisor / Service Receptionist Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Receptionist or similar aftersales role within a motor dealership or garage
• Confident, professional telephone and face-to-face manner
• Comfortable using a Dealer Management System (DMS)
• Well organised, with a methodical approach to bookings and paperwork
