Service Advisor - Automotive

An opportunity has arisen for a Service Advisor to join a commercial vehicle dealer specialising in the sale, servicing, and repair of vans and trucks supporting businesses with new and Approved Used vehicles, genuine parts, and comprehensive aftersales services.As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers, coordinating vehicle service and repair work while ensuring a smooth aftersales experience.This full-time role offers a salary of £32,780 - £34,380 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus of up to £1,720 per annum and benefits.You will be responsible for:Welcoming customers in person and over the telephone in a professional manner. Booking vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair appointments. Preparing and managing repair orders using the dealership management system. Completing vehicle check-in procedures, recording vehicle condition and customer requirements. Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process. Obtaining approval for any additional work identified during servicing. Arranging vehicle collections, deliveries and customer handovers. Ensuring service documentation is accurate to support invoicing and workshop administration. Reviewing vehicle service records to identify suitable maintenance recommendations. Delivering a high standard of customer service throughout the customer journey. Supporting the day-to-day running of the service department.
