Service Administrator

Our client, a leading fleet management company based in Slough, Berkshire, is seeking a Service Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time position offering hybrid working arrangements, with three days in the office and two days working from home. The role provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrative or customer service professional to develop their career within the automotive sector.

Duties of the Service Administrator:

• Answering customer enquiry calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Booking and scheduling vehicle servicing, repairs, and brake jobs
• Inputting customer details, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate records
• Data entry of job sheets, invoices, and customer information
• Communicating effectively with customers and technicians regarding job updates
• Handling general administrative tasks including emails, filing, and supplier orders
• Supporting the Business Fleet team with account administration duties as required
• Assisting wider team members with daily operational needs in a fast-paced environment

Requirements of the Service Administrator:

• Proven experience in administration, office support, or customer service roles
• Confident and friendly telephone manner
• Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask efficiently
• Proficiency in booking and scheduling software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Basic understanding of vehicle servicing and brake systems preferred or willingness to learn
• Previous experience in automotive, garage, dealership, or fleet management sectors is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
