Job Title: Senior Town PlannerLocation: KentPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established planning consultancy in their search for an ambitious Senior Town Planner to join their growing team.This is an opportunity for a planner who wants genuine ownership of their projects, with responsibility from the initial client conversation through to planning decision.You''ll lead your own smaller projects while also playing a key role on larger and more complex schemes, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team and building strong relationships with clients, Local Planning Authorities and other professional stakeholders.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Leading smaller projects from inception through to planning application and decision Managing project timelines, budgets and client relationships throughout the process Acting as a key contributor to medium and large-scale projects alongside the wider multidisciplinary team Attending client meetings and providing clear, commercially focused planning advice Building constructive relationships with Local Planning Authorities and statutory consultees Preparing and reviewing planning applications, appeals and supporting documentation Keeping up to date with changes to planning policy and emerging Green Belt and Grey Belt guidance Applying current planning policy and legislation to a variety of client projects Supporting the delivery of Residential and Commercial development schemes Mentoring and ..... full job details .....
