Are you an experienced Town Planner looking for a flexible, part-time role with a forward-thinking organisation? I''m working exclusively with a highly respected planning and development consultancy based in Birmingham, who are seeking a talented Town Planner to join their growing team.

As part of a close-knit and collaborative planning team, you''ll:

• Manage and deliver a diverse range of planning applications and development projects.

• Provide high-quality planning advice to both private and public sector clients.

• Prepare planning statements, appraisals, and development briefs.

• Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Contribute to the ongoing growth and reputation of the business.

We''re looking for a motivated and commercially aware Town Planner who:

• Holds a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.

• Is a Chartered Member of the RTPI (or working towards chartership).

• Has strong report-writing and communication skills.

• Can manage projects independently while collaborating effectively within a small team.

• Is confident engaging with clients and local planning authorities.

Experience in either the private consultancy or public sector will be considered, but a strong understanding of the UK planning system is essential.

• 2-day per week contract - ideal for professionals seeking part-time or portfolio work.
