About the opportunityDue to ongoing company growth, my client is looking to expand their in-house temporary works design capabilities and is therefore recruiting permanently for a
Senior Temporary Works Engineer .
As a Senior Temporary Works Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing temporary works solutions for construction projects throughout London. You will ensure that temporary structures are safe, efficient, and meet all regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Technical Director, general duties will include designing and developing temporary works solutions, including shoring and falseworks; conducting site assessments and providing technical advice on temporary works; collaborating with clients and the project teams to integrate temporary works into the overall project plan; preparing detailed calculations, drawings and reports; overseeing the installation and removal of temporary structures on site and providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to name just a few duties.
BenefitsFor this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from
60,000 to 70,000
per annum; however, there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, a generous package will be offered in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large, successful company.
RequirementsTo be considered for this opportunity, you should hold a
Bachelor''s or Masters degree
in civil engineering or structural engineering and be accredited by a professional body or working towards full chartership. Additionally, you will have vast working knowledge of relevant UK codes, standards and regulations and hold a minimum of
5 years post-graduate experience in temporary works engineering , including design and drafting.
