Senior Civil and Structural TechnicianLocation: Swansea Salary: Up to 47,000 DOEAn established and growing consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil and Structural Technician to join its team in Swansea.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and experienced CAD technician who is confident working across both civil and structural projects, with a particular emphasis on reinforced concrete detailing and drawing production.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for producing and developing high-quality technical drawings and models across a range of civil and structural engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers, project teams and clients to deliver accurate and practical design information.This role requires demonstrable experience in BOTH civil and structural projects.Essential Requirements10+ years'' CAD experience within a civil and/or structural engineering environment.Proven experience working on both civil and structural projects.Strong experience in reinforced concrete (RC) detailing.Experience with RC reinforcement detailing and scheduling.Ability to produce accurate, detailed technical drawings and construction information.Strong understanding of engineering drawings, detailing standards and construction methods.Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a wider project team.Good communication and organisational skills.Desirable / Additional SkillsExperience with BIM and ..... full job details .....
