Senior Technical Support Engineer

to become the go-to problem solver for the cloud and data platforms.What you’ll do

Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues in AWS-hosted environmentsOwn the resolution of incidents and tickets, ensuring clear updates and quick turnaroundsMonitor and troubleshoot systems to keep them stable, secure, and high performingContribute to automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives (Terraform, scripting in Python)Support the Data Engineering team with pipeline operations, maintenance, and optimisationCreate documentation, onboarding guides, and repeatable support processesLead incident and change management processes, including root cause analysisBridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders with clear, effective communicationRequired Skills/Experience

Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatchA track record of handling support tickets and incident management in fast-paced technical environmentsFamiliarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred) and a good understanding of automation principlesStrong problem-solving skills, able to get to the root of issues quickly across cloud and data platformsConfident communicator who can collaborate effectively with engineers and explain technical matters clearly to non-technical colleaguesBonus points if you have experience with:

Data warehouse platforms like SnowflakePython or similar scripting for tooling and automationDevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, log management)SQL performance tuning and data modelling conceptsAdditional notes
