Senior Technical Accounting Manager – 12 month FTC

Are you a qualified accounting professional with a strong technical background and a passion for driving audit excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment?

We are partnered with a Global business who are looking for an experienced Technical Accounting and Audit Manager to lead audit coordination, technical accounting application, and financial reporting across its UKandI operations. This is a newly created 12-month fixed-term role reporting into the UK Financial Controller, ideally suited for someone looking to make a significant impact within a complex, multi-entity structure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end audit process for UKandI entities.

Prepare and review statutory financial statements under IFRS and FRS 101.

Draft technical accounting papers for complex areas such as revenue recognition, leasing, and key estimates.

Liaise with external auditors, internal finance teams, and global stakeholders to streamline reporting and address technical queries.

Deliver accurate quarterly group reporting, reconciliations, and management-to-statutory bridges.

Support tax reporting processes (VAT, PAYE, PSA, CT) in partnership with tax advisors.

About You

ACA/ACCA/CA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 5 years post-qualified experience.

Big 4/top-tier accounting firm background strongly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.

Experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination.

Comfortable working in a matrixed, international, multi-entity environment.

Please note this is a 12 month contract role where the client is needing someone to start in the next 4-6 weeks.
