Senior Technical Services Manager – Commercial and Life Sciences Projects - Hybrid WorkingWe’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Technical Services Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking main contractor delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across London.This is a senior leadership opportunity offering much more than a traditional TSM role. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the technical division, with a clear path to build and lead your own team, head up a business unit, and contribute to strategic direction at a senior level.Compensation:

£90,000 – £110,000 basic salary, plus a strong commission structure tied to project performance and team success.About the Projects:Sectors: Commercial workplaces and life sciencesLocation: Central LondonProject Values: Up to £25 millionThis role will see you involved from preconstruction through to delivery, supporting multiple teams across the business while ensuring technical excellence throughout.Key Responsibilities:Develop strong relationships with consultants, PMs, and client-side IT teamsDrive the technical side of the tender process, including:Interpreting ERs and consultant specsProducing and reviewing RFIsAttending site visitsCreating commissioning programmes and technical inputsCoordinating subcontractors for aligned tender returnsReviewing pricing/design proposalsAttending pitch interviews and recommending key supply chain partnersContribute to subcontractor performance tracking and new supply chain developmentProject Delivery Support (50%)Review validation reports and provide technical insight to clientsApprove drawings, technical submissions, and method statementsLiaise with consultants and drive sign-offsChair MEP DTMs and produce accurate, actionable minutesMonitor on-site installations for quality and complianceAttend commissioning, witness testing, and manage handover processesReview mechanical and electrical OandM documentationEngage with subcontractor teams as requiredWhat We’re Looking For:A trade-qualified background with strong design, installation and commissioning experienceProven experience in both DandB and traditional contracting environmentsStrong technical knowledge across MEP disciplinesConfident communicator and team player with leadership ambitionDesire to grow a team and influence the direction of a business unitWhy Join?Senior role with real influence over business strategyOpportunity to build and lead your own teamExposure to high-profile commercial and life sciences projectsClear progression into a divisional leadership positionCompetitive base salary with significant earning potential through commissionHybrid WorkingReady to step into a role where you’ll have real impact and a voice at the table?
