About Us: Spectrum Children and Young People s Services is a newly formed service but part of the Rehability UK Group and led by a team with significant experience in working with children and young people. Role Purpose To assist the Registered Manager to ensure the effective operation of the service. This includes overseeing the day-to-day management of the accommodation, supporting the development and progression of young people s independence programs, and ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, policies, and procedures. The Senior Support Worker will provide leadership to the support staff team, ensuring high standards of care and support are maintained while also supporting the health and safety, well-being, and development of young people. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: 1. Supporting the Registered Manager: Assist the Registered Manager in the effective running of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies and procedures. Participate in the development, implementation, and review of support plans and risk assessments for young people. Support the management team in monitoring and evaluating service delivery to ensure best practice and quality care. 2. Supporting Young People s Progression: Promote and support the development of young people s independence skills through structured programs and activities.
