We are recruiting for a
Team Leader
to join our 4-bed Ofsted-registered children\''s residential home in
Preston . The home supports young people aged
8 to 19 years
with Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated complex needs, offering integrated care, education, and clinical support.As Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care, providing support and supervision to a team of residential support workers, and ensuring the day-to-day running of the home meets regulatory and safeguarding standards.Key Responsibilities
Support and mentor support workers to deliver consistent, person-centred careLead shifts, manage rotas, and oversee the daily running of the homeBuild strong, supportive relationships with children and young peopleWork collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams (care, clinical, education)Maintain clear records, care plans, and incident reportsChampion safeguarding and promote independence and positive outcomesRequirements
Minimum
1 year of experience
in a residential care setting (children\''s services preferred)A relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g.
Children and Young People\''s Workforce )Understanding of Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated behavioursConfident in leading a team and taking responsibility during shiftsStrong communication and organisational skillsPassionate about making a difference in the lives of young peopleWhat We Offer
