Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, working on technically challenging projects across a range of sectors?
An established engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to join its established and expanding team in Northamptonshire, offering -50,000 - -90,000 depending on experience. With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth across the business, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team and play a key role in delivering a diverse range of structural engineering projects.

Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will be involved in the delivery of technically challenging projects across sectors including infrastructure, industrial, energy, commercial and other complex engineering developments. You will have the opportunity to take projects from concept through to construction, while working closely with clients, contractors and other design disciplines.
The role will include:

• Delivering structural engineering design across a range of projects and sectors
• Carrying out structural analysis and complex calculations for steel and concrete structures
• Designing foundations, retaining walls, support frames, platforms, pipe racks and associated infrastructure
• Producing structural calculations, technical reports and engineering documentation
• Developing analytical models using industry-standard structural engineering software
• Reviewing drawings, contractor proposals and specialist supplier information
• Coordinating with clients, contractors, architects, geotechnical engineers and multidisciplinary project teams
• Undertaking site inspections and surveys, as well as attending client and design meetings
• Supporting project delivery, programme management and technical compliance
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continued technical development of the team
• Ensuring designs are delivered in accordance with Eurocodes, British Standards and project requirements

This role would suit a technically strong Structural Engineer with experience in infrastructure, industrial, energy, commercial or other complex structural engineering projects, who is looking to combine hands-on design with project coordination, client interaction and technical leadership.
