Senior / Associate Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Associate / Principal Structural Engineer to join a growing engineering consultancy, supporting the delivery of a diverse range of structural engineering projects.
This role requires a hands-on engineer with a strong background in structural design, particularly reinforced concrete and foundations, who enjoys working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams. You will play a key role in project delivery while providing technical expertise across a broad range of engineering challenges.
 
The Associate / Principal Structural Engineer will be responsible for:

• Delivering structural engineering designs and calculations across multiple projects.
• Leading technical project activities from concept through to completion.
• Designing reinforced concrete structures and foundations.
• Working closely with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Producing and reviewing technical documentation and engineering reports.
• Supporting project delivery in line with programme, quality and commercial objectives.

 
The Associate / Principal Structural Engineer will have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or be nearing professional registration.
• Significant structural engineering experience, ideally around 15 years within an engineering consultancy environment.
• Strong expertise in reinforced concrete and foundation design.
• Experience using TEKLA, TEKLA Tedds and relevant Eurocodes and UK design standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands-on approach to engineering design and project delivery.
