Senior Structural Engineer Bristol We''re working with an established engineering consultancy looking to strengthen its Bristol team with an experienced Senior Structural Engineer. This is a client-facing position leading building design projects across a varied portfolio including residential, commercial, industrial, education and healthcare. You''ll take projects through design and delivery, coordinate with architects and wider design teams, and provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians within the team. They''re looking for someone with strong UK consultancy experience who is confident designing across reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry, and has already taken responsibility for leading building structures projects. What You Will Be Doing Lead structural design projects from concept through to completion across a varied portfolio of building projects. Develop practical and efficient structural solutions using reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry. Manage and coordinate engineers and technicians, allocating resources and ensuring project information is delivered accurately, on time and within budget. Work closely with architects, clients and multidisciplinary design teams to develop coordinated structural solutions that support the wider design intent. Produce and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documentation, ensuring designs are appropriately checked before issue.
