Senior Structural Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established and highly regarded independent Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in central Cardiff. The business has a healthy pipeline of work and is looking for an experienced contractor to provide immediate support to the existing structural engineering team. This is a contract opportunity, with the potential to develop into a long-term engagement for the right individual. The role is available at around £45-£50 per hour, outside IR35. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and technically capable engineering team working on a genuinely varied portfolio of projects across South Wales and beyond. The consultancy has a strong track record across the public and private sectors, with experience spanning commercial, residential, education, heritage, transport and regeneration projects. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team at a point where additional resource is genuinely required, meaning you should be able to make an immediate impact rather than simply filling a short-term gap. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a varied workload, take ownership of structural design packages and work alongside other disciplines, with the potential for the contract to continue as the project pipeline develops.
