Senior Specifications Technologist

My client a successful and well-respected food manufacturer in the East Midlands are seeking a Senior Specifications Technologist to join their Technical department, you will take a key role in supporting the New Product Development Team and Technical teams to ensure product specifications and information is correct

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure due diligence and take into consideration timescales, company procedures, legislation, and customer codes of practice
• Ensuring that correct technical information is on correct packaging
• Attendance at customer meetings
• To ensure you keep up to date with current legislation and company policies
• Ensuring that raw materials specifications are assessed according to standards
• Reviewing analytical data
• Be compliant with customer requirements
• Support to production to provide solutions

Skills and experience

• Understanding of HACCP, GMP and hygiene
• Basic understanding of Microbiology and Nutrition
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within Food Manufacturing 
• Experience working with major retailers 

Role

• Days Mon- Friday, 8.00am-4pm (Hybrid)
