Senior Social Worker Children and Families Location: Brent, London Rate : £27 -29 Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week ABOUT THE ROLE Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a busy Children and Family Team within a local authority setting in Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children''s Social Worker with strong statutory experience who is confident working with children and families, managing complex caseloads and undertaking statutory assessments and safeguarding interventions. A minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience is required for this position. The successful candidate will have recent experience working within a statutory Children and Families environment and be confident working on duty, undertaking Section 47 enquiries, attending child protection conferences and completing court-directed assessments under Section 7. There is also potential for the temporary position to become a permanent opportunity for the right candidate, should they be interested. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker. Strong experience within statutory Children''s Social Care and Children and Families services. Recent experience working on duty and responding to referrals and safeguarding concerns. Strong experience undertaking Section 47 enquiries.
