Opus people solutions on behalf of Shropshire Council have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Worker to join their Case Managment Team

Job Title: Senior Social Worker
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate: -33.30
Location: Civic Centre, Walsall
Remote/Office based: Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office

Case Management / Court Teams Working in the Case Management or Court Teams

This is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for a Social Worker who enjoys a varied caseload and working with families to ensure that children are safe and happy long term.

Every day is different and working within the Case Management Team will give you a well rounded experience.

Responsibilities:

• Working with a range of families in need of help and support on Child in Need and Child Protection Plans.
• You would also work with families in PLO and court with children who are looked after.
• In the Court Team, you would have a protected caseload of children subject to proceedings.
• Families are allocated dependent upon skills and experience, with a wealth of support on offer from the management team and other areas of the service.
