Are you an experienced Senior Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality new homes?

Our client is a well-established and respected house builder with an excellent reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. Due to continued growth across the Highlands, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead residential developments in the Inverness area.

The Role:

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will have full responsibility for the successful delivery of residential housing developments from groundworks through to handover.

You will ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the exceptional quality standards expected by both the business and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all day-to-day site operations.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained and promoted at all times.
  • Deliver build programmes to agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Manage subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers effectively.
  • Monitor quality throughout the build process, ensuring NHBC standards are achieved.
  • Coordinate site logistics, materials, and resources.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Produce accurate reports and maintain site documentation.
  • Work closely with Technical, Commercial, Sales, and Customer Care departments.
  • Mentor and develop Assistant Site Managers and site teams.

About You:

The successful candidate will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in volume or private residential house building.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing new-build residential developments.
  • Previous experience in a Senior Site Manager role or a highly experienced Site Manager ready for the next step.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning ability.
  • Thorough knowledge of NHBC standards and UK building regulations.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality homes on time and within budget.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Qualifications
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Manager Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • NVQ Level 6, HNC/HND, or equivalent construction qualification (preferred)
