Senior Site Manager

About this Role:Experienced Senior Site Manager take the lead role as No1 on a 5m new build leisure project near West Cowes. This is a two storey steel framed building predominantly shell and core with client fit out plus a large are of external works. The building once completed will provide mixed leisure facilities.Reporting to the visiting Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing all site-based construction activities; You will have responsibility for regular client liaison, review of construction design information and raising RFIs/TQs, short-term programming of works, overall safe and successful delivery of all phases of the construction on site ensuring company health and safety standards are achieved and enforced, review of method statements, risk assessments, site logistics, quality control, implementation of inspection and test plans, sub-contractor coordination meetings, reporting on progress against programmes, issue resolution, etc, snagging and handover. Works will commence on site next for a 6 month duration. There is a good pipeline of ongoing work in the area predominantly new build and refurbishment projects in the bespoke residential sector.Excellent opportunity to work with this busy main contractor on the Island.
