Senior Site Engineer

The Role
You will take a senior position on site, responsible for overseeing engineering activities, managing Junior Engineers.
Key Responsibilities

* Setting out for roads, sewers, drainage, and foundations
* Overseeing and mentoring Site Engineers and Junior Engineers
* Managing QA processes, including inspections and documentation on Roads & Sewers
* Coordinating with Site Managers and subcontractors
* Ensuring works are delivered in line with design drawings and specifications
* Supporting programme delivery and resolving technical issues on site

Position fundamentals

* Leica machine control experience and creating models (not earthworks models but helpful if they can)
* Geo-technical experience, not expecting them to know all, but understands CBRs etc
* Decent residential experience (Plots/Earthworks/Roads & Sewers/278 works)
* Proficient in cad software (AutoCAD 3d civil preferred but not a deal breaker if other)
* The roles will require the senior to set out, but each role comes with a decent junior engineer that can also set out, this allows the senior to look at the technical stuff.
