Senior Radiographer

Overview
As a Radiographer you will work as part of a multi-professional team. The role involves using a range of highly specialised radiological equipment to perform X-Rays, Computed Tomography (CT) and Dacrocystogram scans. This enables clinicians to make important decisions in the care and treatment of our patients.The role involves producing high quality X-Rays, Computed Tomography (CT) and Dacrocystogram scans in line with departmental protocols. Experience of working autonomously is essential.Responsibilities
Deputising for the Head of Radiology in their absence and supervising other staff within the service.Act as a Radiation Protection Supervisor for the service to ensure compliance with IR(ME)R 2017.Undertake clerical tasks which ensure a smooth patient pathway.Attend relevant meetings as required.Requirements
