Senior Quantity Surveyor - Drylining and InteriorsLocation: Northampton Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 per annum Package: Benefits package Job Type: Full-time, PermanentThe OpportunityPPM Recruitment is working with a growing specialist contractor within the drylining and interiors sector to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Northampton-based operation.With an established client base and ambitious plans for continued expansion, the business is looking for a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, working closely with the Directors to maximise profitability and support future growth.The RoleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the commercial aspects of drylining and interiors projects from initial tender and procurement through to valuations, cost control and final account settlement.Key responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial delivery of drylining and interiors projects from start to completion.Preparing and submitting monthly valuations and applications for payment.Managing variations, change control and final accounts.Overseeing subcontractor procurement, package negotiations and payment applications.Monitoring project budgets, costs, cash flow and profit margins.Reviewing tender documentation, pricing enquiries and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.Negotiating with clients, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.Maintaining accurate commercial ..... full job details .....
