Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a leading main contractor delivering multiple commercial construction schemes, looking to recruit an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of earthworks, groundworks and associated civil engineering packages. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage high-value subcontract packages across multiple projects, with individual packages valued up to 20m.Your Day-To-Day Duties:Managing the commercial delivery of earthworks, groundworks and civil engineering packages across multiple industrial schemesOverseeing subcontract procurement, tender analysis and package negotiationsReviewing and agreeing subcontractor applications for payment and valuationsManaging variations, change control and additional worksMonitoring package costs, forecasting and reporting against project budgetsManaging subcontractor accounts through to final account agreementIdentifying and managing commercial and contractual risksLiaising with project teams, subcontractors and senior commercial staff to ensure effective package deliveryEnsuring contractual compliance and maintaining accurate commercial recordsThe RequirementsProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role within the construction industryStrong experience managing groundworks, earthworks or civil engineering packagesPrevious experience working for a main contractorExperience managing high-value subcontract packages, ideally on industrial, logistics or ..... full job details .....
