Collaborating with, and drawing on the specialist skills of the group''s business units we deliver a truly integrated, multidisciplinary service.Senior Quantity SurveyorVolkerStevin is hiring!We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support a long-term project/framework in Helensburgh.This role will be primarily based from our Glasgow City Centre office, with occasional travel to Helensburgh for site visits as required.About the RoleThe Senior Surveyor is responsible for all commercial and contractual matters on the site allocated to them and should be able to effectively manage surveyors and or assistant surveyors to successfully deliver that project. On larger more intricate projects may be required to carry out the same tasks for a section or sections of the works reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.Accountabilities:Tender:Review and commercially assess the Main Contract conditions and advise on risk and scope areasReview and commercially assess sub-contract packages for incorporation into the main tender when required.Review tender information for value engineering opportunitiesAssist the Bid team as required.Assist and review as required by senior ..... full job details .....
