Are you looking for your next contract opportunity with a major transformation project?Job Summary:You will be responsible for managing the commercial and financial aspects of construction projects, including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, valuations and financial control.Key Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates, budgets and cost plansMonitor project costs, risks and financial exposurePrepare financial reports and forecastsManage procurement and tendering activitiesPrepare tender documentation, BoQs and pricing schedulesEvaluate subcontractor and supplier tendersAdminister construction contracts and manage variations, change orders and claimsPrepare interim valuations and final accountsAssess subcontractor applications and issue payment certificatesIdentify commercial risks and support value engineeringLiaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors and consultantsProvide commercial and contractual advice to project teamsEssential Experience:Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within constructionStrong knowledge of UK construction practicesExperience with NEC contractsStrong commercial and financial awarenessExperience with cost management, procurement and contract administrationStrong numerical, analytical and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and ..... full job details .....
