Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity with a family-run company in the Cotswolds. The team focuses on high-quality bespoke and traditional constructions, overseeing all development aspects including planning permissions and building regulations approval. The role requires advising on innovative design ideas and managing multiple projects with local tradespeople.Responsibilities

Ensure weekly and monthly payments are processed efficiently; resolve disputed items and provide an accurate financial status of sites.Produce site valuations and present to the Board of Directors.Liaise with other departments to ensure sites run efficiently and on schedule.Comply with and promote the Group''s Health, Safety and Environment Policy within the team.Mentor and train junior team members and develop their skills for increased responsibility.Aid the Manager in key business decisions and attend regular regional meetings as the relevant subject expert.Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management.At least 3 years'' relevant experience within the last 8 years.Fully conversant with Microsoft Word and Excel.Experience with COINS is desirable.Full UK driving licence.About You

Experience on high-end housing, restoration or heritage projects.Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of development.Exceptional project and time management skills; well-organised and proactive.Benefits
