Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently partnering with a leading main contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a flagship mixed-use RC frame development in London. This is a key commercial role on a high-profile scheme, offering the opportunity to be involved from early stages through to completion, working within a well-established project team on a complex, multi-phase development. Location Initially based in the South East London office Moving into a split role between office and East London site as the project progresses As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take a lead role in managing the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring financial performance is maintained while supporting successful project delivery. Key responsibilities include: Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account Procurement of subcontract packages, with a focus on best value and risk management Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Administration of subcontractor accounts, valuations, and variations Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Working closely with design, planning, and site teams to ensure cost-effective delivery Supporting contract administration in line with project requirements Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong commercial relationships Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment Strong track record delivering RC frame ..... full job details .....
