Senior Quantity Surveyor

Pinnacle are looking to speak to Senior Quantity Surveyors, with a strong background in rail infrastructure, specifically across civil engineering and signalling projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional to support high-profile rail programmes, ensuring robust cost control, contract management, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead all commercial and contractual aspects of rail projects, from pre-contract through to final account Prepare, review, and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts Administer contracts (e.g. NEC forms) including compensation events and variations Conduct value engineering and cost optimisation exercises Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts Provide accurate and timely commercial reporting Support project teams in risk management and mitigation strategies Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams Requirements Proven experience as a Senior QS within the rail sector Strong background in civil engineering and signalling projects Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 preferred) Pay is 400- 450 (DOE) per day outside IR35.
