Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our Water specialist subcontractor client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis working out of their Stratford or Horton offices. Our client are a fast growing infrastructure business with secured contracts in the Water sector with the likes of Thames and Southern Water. They deliver cutting edge trenchless technologies and turnkey services to make the world''s water cleaner and are going through a period of rapid expansion. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets. Responsibilities Provide assistance, support and guidance on all commercial issues within the projects and ensure that commercial staff attain their maximum potentialDevelop and expand the commercial knowledge of the commercial teamReview all commercial plans to deliver maximum marginProvide contractual advice during the tendering process Identify improvements to commercial proceduresEnsure the accuracy of the commercial data generated within relevant softwareManage the monthly commercial audit processManage mediation/adjudication claimsEnsure the subcontract process is administered correctly to protect the CompanyComplete monthly review of contract results and performanceCarry out cashflow and Work in Progress reportingManage CVRs monthly to satisfy the requirements of the Business Unit/Company and provide any other ..... full job details .....
