Senior Quantity Surveyor – Fire Remediation & Façades

Location: Potters Bar (with travel across London)
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Private Healthcare + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a leading property services contractor specialising in fire remediation, façade refurbishment and major external works across the social housing sector. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to commercially lead fire remediation and façade projects across long-term frameworks in Lewisham and Redbridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor with at least 3 years' experience delivering façade and fire remediation projects who is looking to take ownership of schemes and play a key role in a growing business. Working closely with the operational team, you will be given the autonomy to manage your projects from inception through to final account while building strong client relationships.

The Role

• Take full commercial responsibility for fire remediation and façade refurbishment projects.
• Manage project costs from pre-construction through to final account.
• Prepare cost plans, valuations, forecasts and financial reports.
• Build, price and submit client variations.
• Procure and commercially manage subcontractor packages.
• Administer contracts and ensure commercial compliance.
• Monitor project profitability and identify commercial risks.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Take ownership of projects, driving commercial performance and successful project delivery from start to finish.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience delivering fire remediation and façade projects.
• Proven Quantity Surveying experience within the construction, façade or property services sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Experience administering construction contracts and managing subcontractor accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of projects and work independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
