Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Sudbury, SuffolkRate: 549/day UmbrellaContract: Until April 2027Working pattern: Hybrid, ideally 3 days per week on site/in the officeHours: 45 hours per weekMy T1 Contractor client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project in Sudbury.The role will support commercial delivery across packages of work related to an 11km of underground cable, with particular responsibility for HDD, trenching, ducting and associated civils works.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial management of assigned infrastructure packagesAdministering NEC contractsPreparing and managing applications for paymentManaging CVRs and cost reportingSupporting compensation events, valuations and commercial changeWorking closely with delivery, engineering and wider commercial teamsManaging subcontractor accounts and ensuring accurate commercial recordsSupporting junior members of the commercial team where requiredRequirementsIdeally 5+ years'' Quantity Surveying experienceStrong construction or major infrastructure backgroundGood working knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administrationExperience with civils, utilities, power, cables or similar infrastructure advantageousFastDraft experience desirableRICS qualification desirable but not essentialAble to work effectively within a large project and commercial teamAble to commit to approximately 3 days per week in SudburyThis is a long-term contract opportunity for an experienced QS who can hit the ground ..... full job details .....
