Your new companyYou will be joining a leading UK main contractor with an established presence across the Midlands and an excellent reputation for delivering major new-build and refurbishment projects.With a strong and secure pipeline of work, the business delivers complex schemes ranging from 20m to 100m+ across a variety of sectors, including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Industrial and Local Authority.Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, based from their East Midlands Region with hybrid working available.Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for major construction projects across the Midlands, working closely with the wider project and commercial teams from pre-construction through to final account.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the commercial performance of projects valued between 20m and 100m+Procurement and management of subcontractor packagesPreparing and managing budgets, forecasts and cost reportsSubcontractor valuations, payments and final accountsManaging variations, compensation events and contractual changeIdentifying and managing commercial risks and opportunitiesMonitoring project costs against agreed budgetsProducing accurate monthly commercial reporting and CVRsWorking closely with Project Managers, Design Managers and site teamsLiaising professionally with clients, consultants and the wider supply ..... full job details .....
